Goodwill Training
Programs for Youth
Goodwill training programs partner with employers and schools to provide students with meaningful introductions to the world of work. Our youth programs are powered by unwavering support from nearly 200 employers. Our community partners commit over 600 hours of volunteer time annually to help students grow and develop. In collaboration with our partners, we facilitate student internships, summer employment, site visits, mock interviews, career and job panels and fairs, teacher externships, project-based learnings, and more.
Testimonials
“3Eye has enjoyed partnering with Goodwill Connects and their Career Academies program, supporting our community and investing in Battle Creek’s students. Seeing the students’ hard work and dedication has been inspiring, and our employees have valued the opportunity to work alongside them.”

“The Goodwill/[BCCHS] Career Academy partnership has allowed students the opportunity to explore career options and have a plan post-graduation. It has given our organization the ability to highlight the profession of Early Childhood Education and develop the relationships with Battle Creek youth as they prepare to navigate adulthood, college, and the workforce. Personally, I have enjoyed working at my alma mater and meeting some great students!”

“At Learning Zone, we pride ourselves in educated staff that are dedicated and do what they love. We have chosen Goodwill Connects so we can give the opportunity to our future generation of early educators, to get their foot in the door, and offer a tuition-free career in the field with our scholarship and grant opportunities as well! We have hired many Goodwill Connect employees and love having them on our team.”
