Job Development
From job coaching to helping local workers connect with business owners, Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan’s Heartland, Inc. provides our community’s workforce with what it needs to succeed. Our goal is to help job seekers find and maintain meaningful employment through the removal of barriers.
Financial Counseling
Our financial coaching program teaches people to manage their finances by giving them knowledge, tools, and support. Whether it’s paying down debt, saving for an emergency expense or improving your credit score, together we’ll create a plan that meets your goals.
Free Income Tax Preparation
The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program offers free tax preparation in Calhoun and Branch counties for people whose annual income is less than $67,000, who have a disability, or who have limited English speaking skills. Get assistance with your income tax preparation!
Family Development
Our Family Development program provides crucial assistance to improve family well-being and stability. Acting as a bridge between families and community resources, we help navigate challenging situations through advocacy and personalized support.
Youth Programming
Youth programs hosted through Goodwill Industries of Central Michigan’s Heartland, Inc. provide an opportunity for students to get involved with activities that help them learn skills, develop interpersonal communication skills, gain early job experiences, and more.
